I thought the "Special Guest Screenwriter" would be Andrew Kevin Walker, since he did uncredited re-writes for all of Fincher's films since Se7en.

The "Special Guest Screenwriter" is William Goldman of Princess Bride and Butch Cassidy & The Sundance Kid fame.

As was mentioned above.

Just started going through the extras - all I can say is "wow."

Mr. Prior, if you're reading this, THANK YOU.

I hope the Panic Room: SE money buys you somethin' pretty.

Yeah, that's why I qualified it by saying that I saw it on my junky old TV. The Superbit would probably look a lot better on my new TV and component video hookup.

Still, I was disappointed in the fact that it was not in fact a "super bitrate." Perhaps it's because this movie is so dark that it just doesn't register in higher bitrate. But, I also wondered why they used 3-D animated menus at all. Usually Superbit products get plain menus.

In all honesty, I don't think the current Superbit is a 'real' Superbit. Yes, the menus give this away. Also, even though the picture might be a little more detailed than the SE, I still don't think the video looks as good as it should. For one thing, there is video noise in the picture - no excuse for that. I have not seen this in the other 6 or 7 Superbits I have watched. Considering it's basically a new movie, Panic Room should have looked reference or near reference quality.

Sorry, nope. Not that I could see.

I found two! Breaking the mirror and real safe rooms.
The first you will find if on disc 2 you go to Pre-production, select prep, go to safe craking school and press right! An icon will appear press it and you will see a feature about real Safe rooms.
The second can be found in Production, go to the selection main menu and press right again, an icon appears, press and you will see a feature about breaking the mirror.

Has anyone else found some other?
