February 3 Classics

According to Amazon, it looks like Gaslight, Goodbye, Mr. Chips, Mutiny on the Bounty and Mrs. Miniver are to be released in color. Can this be? I was looking forward to some lovingly restored films done in glorious black and white. I guess I'll be keeping my laserdiscs for a while.

I'm sure that's just a typo. Amazon isn't the most reliable when it comes to technical specs.

It's a typo. The same UPC and ASIN are listed as B&W elsewhere. The short is probably color.

I'm going to go broke on Feb 3rd. All of these plus Red Dwarf, Gods Must Be Crazy and Ed Wood.

Unfortunately, a season box set of the "Superman" animated series has yet to be announced. They're releasing the first three episodes, which were first shown in a 90 minute format as "The Last Son of Krypton". Pretty much the same deal as the "Batman/Superman Movie", but I'll be thrilled when they release the complete series...

I'm getting Gaslight which is a great value because it has both the '40 and the '44 version and you can get it for $15 or less.
