Any word on Alias Season 3?

I just finished season 2 on DVD and can't wait for Season 3.
I know it isn't even finished and about 1/2 the episodes aren't even filmed yet, ut I really want to find out what happens.
I don't want to watch them out of order so I usually don't watch it when it airs on ABC.

Has anyone seen any announcements on this?

My guess is you will see it in the fall, in the Sept.-Nov. period. They'll want the release to coincide with the premiere of season 4.

That would be my guess as well. Maybe August so people can catch up before the next season begins.

I just started watching Alias Season one and am completly hooked, on only 5 episodes in to it and its amazing. I was wondering if I should just go out and buy the sents (I am currently Netflixing them), but didnt know what season is on TV now... SO the third season is what they are showing currently on ABC?? That would be awsome since both seasons are already out on DVD then.. Thanks

The third is what they are showing now... my recommendation would be to watch everything that is available before you go out and buy it though

Spoiler info about why I feel this way...
Spoiler:

Personally for me I thought the series lost a focus (and a little bit of the "edge") somewhat after SD-6 was broken up. I know it's moved on to other things and all the major players are still there but by the end of the 2nd season I wasn't as interested in what's going to happen next. It's probably just me though... Still one of the better shows on TV, but that's not really saying much compared to what it's up against.
