Exorcist 25th Anniversary Edition Question

I just picked up The Exorcist 25th Anniversary Edition today and was surprised to open it up and find a double sided disc. I swear that I have seen this before as a single sided disc. Am I wrong or just an idiot? Are all the 25th Anniversary Editions double sided?

thanks

All are double-sided.

I just purchased this recently, as well. This was the first time I saw the original. Prior to this I have been watching "The Version You've Never Seen."

Both?

j/k

This is the version I have too. I've been trying to decide about getting the newer release but still not sure. I know the a/v quality is slightly better but not entirely happy with the changes.

Yes, I don't care about the changes too much on the new version after seeing the original. The new version is really more of a "writer's cut" where as the original is more of the director's vision.

Video-wise, the new version is very, very slightly better. Audio-wise, it is significantly better. The DD EX track is like a new track. The original 5.1 track still sounds decent for a film of the age and more "natural" for such an older film.
