I've seen plenty of the Abyss and Indepedence Day 2 discs rereleases at Best Buy where I believe the rereleases were initially exclusive to and still might be. I personally haven't seen Fight Club anywhere but haven't been looking for it. Some have reported seeing it at Borders.

Borders in Eugene had it in stock before Christmas. You can try www.bordersstores.com to check the stock at your local store(s) (probably about 75% accurate) and reserve the item for three days for "in-store pickup" if it is in stock.

I've seen quite a few at my local Borders, so it shouldn't be too hard to find.

I've seen 2 copies in a Coconuts store in Louisville, KY...

I've been to two Borders that just opened in September in the area, but nothing in those.

We've got 2 of the original release for sale at my friend's comic book store.

You'll never find the Fight Club 2 disc anywhere because they never made a sequel to Fight Club.

I found them here

Obviously, not a B&M but much easier instead of going from store to store.

We just got about 30 of the Fight Club 2-disc "Collector's Edition" sets in at my Best Buy, with a street date of 2/1/04 (not even a Tuesday). So you might want to check your Best Buy around then, if not now, as some might just throw them out early. The case is almost identical to the old release, except it now has a #9 on the spine with Pitt's mug by the bottom instead of up top.

My guess is that Big Trouble in Little China will not be rereleased?

Urrrgh. This is what happens when you wait too long for a price drop...you get a butchered single disc.

Good news. BTILC is being rereleased! I saw it in the latest Future Shop flyer. Unfortunately I don't have the flyer anymore but it is the 2 disc version and it comes out within the next few weeks. Sorry I can't be more specific.

I ordered it at bb.com a couple weeks ago, and they have written twice saying it is backordered with an ETS of early Feb, just like the employee said above.

Worth the wait!

OMG!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

This is the first I've heard of it (it was odd that everything else was rereleased minus this). I'll definitely pick it up at first sight now.

Out Of Stock and no sight of it coming back according to them.

Something that us International forum people hated to hear!
