How often do you watch DVD'S?

im just curious as many of you seem like hardcore film fans. Ive found myself watching a dvd every night since buying my new tv and surround sound. Another thing. Do any of you still buy or watch videos now that DVD has virtually taken over? ive now sold my video player and find that there is only a very small space in shops and rental stores for videos.

Once or twice a week. I'm not a hardcore film fan and have several other hobbies eating into my fairly limited amount of free time.

When I worked Sun, Tues, Thurs, and Sat, I'd watch one of Monday, Wed, and Fri right after school. I can't wake up early enough to watch one before work on Saturday or Sunday, unless it's a TV show and only 30-60 minutes long. So maybe 3-5 a week, if that.

I usually watch at least one a day. I still buy VHS and laserdiscs occasionally.

I easily watch 1-2 DVD's per day! It's kinda like background noise when I'm doing stuff.

At one time I was watching DVD about 7 or 8 times (maybe more) a week, now I only watch about 2 or 3 (maybe less) DVDs a week.

I started to work 2 jobs to pay for Christmas, my DVD watch may pick up over the next month or two.

I usually watch at least 2 films a day. it's my way to wind down after a 12 hour day. my prime viddy hours are 10pm to 2 or 3am. if I'm taking a day off, I try to watch an older film noir or older classic around 7am. early mornings/late nights....best time for dvds/films!!

I only watch 1-2 per week. But I totally watch it. Commentaries, extras, everything. I also watch about an hour of TV on DVD with the wife on a nightly basis (Angel, Buffy or Babylon 5). I also have other obligations like family and other hobbies to keep me going. I have a four day weekend after today and expect to watch several.

As soon as I submitted this post, I got a Babylon 5 popup trivia question for Season 4. That's weird since I just mentioned it in my post.

I watch one movie a day, but not always all of the supplements (or I watch them the next day).

I haven't bought any VHS since I bought a DVD player 5 years ago.

I still buy Laserdisc.

I consider myself to be a HARDCORE film fan. I mean WAYYYYYYYY more than the average movie goer & I have about 400 DVDs. However, I only watch about 1-3 DVDs week if that. I am absolutely amazed ( & a little worried) about the guys that post in the weeky "what are you watching this week" thread & they list off 2-3 movies a night. I mean with work, shool, family, girlfriend, chores, by the time night comes, I'm ready to pass out. How do people have so much time to sit & watch DVDs.

Whenever I have some free time. Between school and TV shows most of my DVD watching is saved for weekends.

I average a movie a day, maybe 5 a week. Ehen my son is here he might watch as many as 5 over a weekend however. Regarding videotapes, Im selling my collection off in chunks at a time because their value is only going down, not up, and it's better to get a few bucks from them at the local pawn shop than it is to watch them gather dust as a dead media a year and 5 years from now.

Watch a little before it's time to sleep. Remember when it was reading?

I watch DVDs every day.

When I was working 2 full-time jobs, I could only squeeze in a hour's worth of viewing time but I'm up to several a day now that I'm unemployed.

Once I find a job, I may shrink down to one a day.

Tonight's schedule includes Bad Boys II and Beyond Re-Animator.

Happy New Year folks!

And Rogue588 wherever you are, please feel better!
