Columbia Tristar Home Entertainment, working to tie in with the premiere of the Ben Stiller/Owen Wilson remake film later in the same week, has announced a March 2nd DVD release of Starsky & Hutch - The Complete 1st Season:
According to Columbia's press release, the 1173-minute running time includes the show's 90-minute pilot along with all 22 regular first-season episodes (including some with special guest appearances by the likes of Suzanne Somers and John Ritter). Features include:
• Exclusive featurette of Warner Bros. Pictures new movie "Starsky & Hutch" Starring Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson and Snoop Dogg
• Making-Of featurette "Behind the Badge"
• "It's Harder Than It Looks" featurette
• "The Third Star" featurette about the classic Ford Torino speedster
• Audio commentary with original stars Paul Michael Glaser, David Soul and Antonio Fargas
• Feature film photo gallery
• Original TV promo spots
• Feature film weblink
• Bonus Trailers
Presented in the original 1.33:1 video format, expect both English and Spanish soundtracks (and it's closed captioned for the hearing impaired). The list price is $49.94 for this 5-DVD package.

Great news! I could do without the new S&H featurette. I don't know about you but I've had it UP TO HERE with Ben Stiller! ;^) But I digress, great news indeed, bring it on!

Great news! This is the one 70's show I'd still like to get. (Have Charlie's Angels) After seeing Baretta, S.W.A.T. and others..and that Cop shows compilation, I hoped they'd get this one out soon.
Happy Days and Welcome Back Kotter and my 70's fix will be complete.
Anyone know how many seasons SandH had all together? And any word on Charlies Angels Season Two? (Cheryl Ladd!)
