6. The Looney Tunes Golden Collection

Lots of my personal previously unreleased holy grails were released this year, so how can I not include them in my top 10 releases of the year??

Indiana Jones Box Set
Quest For Fire
Remo Williams:The Adventure Begins
Chisum
Escape From New York SE
Lord Of The Rings: The Two Towers
T3
Big Jake
The Omega Man
Continental Divide

Again, not necessarily my favorite 10 movie titles of the year, but as I had waited a few years for half of these, they are worth listing in my top 10 to finally see the light of day.......

Since my funds are somewhat limited, with 2 kiddies and all, I usually only purchase those films which I love or get as gifts.
Here's my list so far(with hope that this Xmas brings some new ones I can add), in no particular order except how they fall from my brain to my fingers:

POTC
Finding Nemo
Right Stuff SE
Farhrenheit 451
Giant SE
Who Framed RR SE
Monty Python and the Holy Grail SE(not the SE w/booklet).
Dick Van Dyke Season 2
Singin' in the Rain SE
This is Spinal Tap

Latest DVD purchased that may be added to the list, but haven't actually opened it yet: Big Trouble in Little China.
