Back to the Future trilogy corrected framing -- Where do I find it? -- HELP !

I have called so many stores after.....

Someone on Amazon.Com wrote this:

Version 2 Now Available in Store!, December 17, 2003
Reviewer: Murray Wasylnuk from Vancouver, B.C.
Well, it only took a year, but the corrected version 2 of BACK TO THE FUTURE the complete trilogy on DVD (widescreen) is now available in store! I gave up waiting and decided to buy the widescreen version (which was mis-framed on parts II and III) and buy it thinking that I would have to mail back discs II and III for a replacement. To my surprise, it is now available in stores! I bought my copy and there was an oval shaped, half green and white sticker on the front that read "Widescreen Remastered" and both disc 2 & 3 had the tiny print of "V2" on the disc right next to the copyright on the bottom of the front! Well, this is great news that I wanted to share with everyone who was waiting for this DVD to show up in stores! Now I have a full "version 2" BTTF DVD set without having to go through buying the DVD set and exchanging it through the mail! --This text refers to the DVD edition

BTTF

I have read the threads. I don't want to return them to Universal, I just want to find the corrected set.

Thanks!

Good Luck!

I doubt anyone has seen them in any store yet.

People have been waiting 10 MONTHS or longer for the corrected set (v.2) in stores. These people would have long had the replacement discs if they would have just done the exchange. My advice to you: just buy the set, watch them once (the few affected minutes won't ruin the experience) and then return to Universal. From personal experience I can tell you it's a painless (and relatively quick) process.

I'm posting this simply because I loved working at universal and being around this daily..

When I got the set on release day, I thought about not exchanging. But, like you mentioned, I watched 'em and decided to send them in. It was quite painless.

For those who haven't, don't forget, you only send in discs 2 & 3. You still keep the first movie.
