Universal Home Video has announced The Rundown, the film many expected to be The Rock's big breakout film, will hit DVD on March 23 at a suggested price of $26.98.


The film stars The Rock as a bounty hunter trying to square a debt to a mob boss by going to the Amazon jungle to bring back his son, played by Seann William Scott. Things get complicated from there. The film also starts Christopher Walken and Rosario Dawson.

I wonder will I get a foreign release, just because I like the title Welcome To The Jungle so much better.

I loved the trailer but never see these types of movies in the theatre.

it's weird, but i could swear i saw a trailer for it in NYC where it was called Trouble in Paradise. but that one isn't mentioned on the IMDB...

I think according to MovieWeb it's original title was to be "Helldorado" or close to that when I saw it mentioned before it was released in theaters.

I thought it was a decent movie. Nothing new here just plain old action/comedy flick with the Main guy(Rock) and sidekick(Sean). Oh, and of course the bad guy(Walken). Some GREAT fight scenes that have to be seen. Pretty predictable throughout so no suprises here. I'd give the movie 3 stars out of 5.

Definately getting this one. It was one of my favorite action/comedy flicks last year. A great blind buy, too, imo.

One of the best surprises of last summer, imo. Count me in, too.

The Rock was good but SWScott needs to find another role. He is the same character over and over again. Still worth a watch.
