'The Practice' on DVD?

Does anyone know if there is a DVD for this show in the works? I love the show but just started recently watching it in the past few years so I'd like to buy it on DVD instead of having to stay up until midnight on Sunday night to watch the re-runs. Thanks.

Nothing planned yet, but I do remember it being on Fox's poll of what TV shows you wanted on DVD a while back. Maybe enough support was shown to plan a release. As much as I like the show, I can't stand the new ones with Dylan and Laura Flynn.

I liked the show, even though I never understood half of what was going on

Yes, it was the 3rd thread from the bottom. And I'm guessing that "an hour later and that early in the morning" you weren't on the boards.. so you would have no idea.

Much as I like the show (especially this year with McDermott and Williams gone and Spader on board), I don't really feel it would hold enough replay value (for me) to go out and buy DVDs. I'd probably just try to catch a rerun if I were inclined to watch them again.

As for "having to" stay up to midnight on Sundays to watch the reruns, why not just VIDEOTAPE them and watch at a more convenient time? If the show is good enough to "keep", you could tape them and eventually, you'd have them all, just in case DVDs aren't forthcoming.

As for that TV poll that was referred to, I seem to remember reading that the studio were very surprised by some of the results, particularly by the very low number of votes that some newer shows like "The Practice" were getting.
