Nicole Kidman in Bangkok Hilton
I consider myself the biggest nicole kidman fan out there. I just wanted to let anyone who is considering ordering this via the dvdtalk offer just realize this is not the full mini-series. It is edited into a 90 minute feature which is just ridiculous and not worth the purchase price when the runtime should be about 4 1/2 hours. I almost ordered it till i realized this. A hacked up release... NO Thanks!
Edit to ad the following:
DVDtalk should take the time to correct there main page since the info is totally misleading since it is not the mini-series you are getting. 90 minute runtime equivelant to mini-series ? I don't think so. atleast tell people it is a way way edited down version. I am actually surprised dvdtalk would even bother to have this deal unless they were under the impression it was the full mini-series.

...erm... Piazza does have a point: the IMDb states that the US version of this mini-series was 240 minutes long (not counting advertising spots)... I remember seeing parts of the movie on Swiss TV over two successive evenings - that would have been two two-hour parts...
...shades of the movie 'version' of Bergman's Fanny And Alexander, or - worse yet - Shogun (saw the latter in a Swiss cinema: 't was a two-hour movie that a person could not make heads or tails of, there were such gaps in the story - it wasn't until much later that I found out it had originally been a US mini-series)...

I thought I 'll chime in,and help, nicole fans.
a search on uk websites, i have found a copy on dvd. promblem is,if you dont have a region free player(you might have on,piazazza, but I dont know if u do or not.
bensens world.co.uk
has it for 17.99 in uk dollars
i think that equels about 23.00 in us dollars for it,but it had a diffirent cover, and the run time, is 273 minutes(though that could be pal speed) spead on 2 dvds. thought all you nicole fans would like the longer 273 min version rather then the us watered,or butchard version of the release of the film in american.
