What Are You Watching This Week/Weekend? (12/8 - 12/14)

This Is A List That Spans The Entire 7 Day Week

Feel Free To Include Movies From Television & The Movie Theater

Monday
Crash - (1996) - 7/10

Tuesday
Just a season 3 episode of Family Guy

Wednesday
Gremlins - (1984) - 9/10

Thursday
More Family Guy Season 3

Friday
Continuing with the Family Guy Season 3

Saturday
Planes, Trains and Automobiles - (1987) - 9/10
Bottle Rocket - (1996) - 8/10

Sunday

Well, I was hoping to watch the Hitchock Criterion boxset, Straw Dogs and Ichi the Killer orders from DDD, but it looks like I'll be lucky to get it by the end of the year.

I guess I'll finish the Buffy Season 4 boxset while waiting for S5 to arrive.

And maybe:

Pirates of the Caribbean
Bottle Rocket
Silent Night, Deadly Night
And some more Christmas flicks...

i just watched 'The Hudsucker Proxy' on monday night, for the first time. i was pleased to find that sam raimi also wrote the script

Tuesday - The Key (Tinto Brass)

Wednesday - nothing... too tired... had to sleep...

Thursday - nothing either... wife foiled my viewing plans...

Friday - 3rd night w/o watching anything... starting to get withdrawal symptoms...

Saturday - TTT EE (saw it in the cinema); fantastic experience!

Sunday - Midnight Express and Gia; 2 movies filled with good performances.

I can't watch any movies until after the 20th (That's when my new 51" Hitachi 51S700 gets delivered). I just can't watch any movies on a 27" screen when I know a 51" is on the way.

So I've been slowly working my way through King of Queens Season 1.

Monday: Half of Enter the Dragon
Tuesday: Most of Y Tu Mama Tambien
Wednesday: The rest of Y Tu Mama Tambien (including the short additional film and the documentary), National Lampoon's Las Vegas Vacation, half an hour of Mondo Cane 1st DVD
Thursday: Some of Mondo Cane's 1st DVD, most of Natl Lampoon's European Vacation, and I'm not watching LOTR: FOTR Theatrical version (I've decided to do LOTR... after I finish all the extras on this DVD I'll start on the FOTR giftset, then do the theatrical DVD for TTT and then the giftset for TTT (including the bonus 6th DVDs for both and reading the book for the TTT giftset). That should take me into next week

Something that struck me from the documentary for Y Tu Mama Tambien was that the two main actors helped carry stuff for the production of the movie - it was just a bunch of friends doing a movie, there was no "Oh, I'm an actor, I don't carry stuff" going around. If anything, the main actress is the one that had a bit of uppity attitude
