DVD Organizer for PDA?
Does anyone know if there is a DVD organizer, similar to DVD Profiler, out for PDA's?
I currently kept a list maintained on my PC, but thought that it would be nice to have this information available to me on my PDA for when I am out and about. I know there are several occasions when I'm out with friend debating on what movie to see or rent. This would be a cool way of letting the group see what I have back at the apartment, perhaps eliminating a trip to the video store. In addition, it would be a nice feature for those that use a PDA as their HT remote. Guests could use it as sort of a menu to browse my current selections and read a little synopsis of the movie. This would seem to be much easier than pulling each title off the shelf to review?

I tried a few of the PDA specific ones and didn't care for them for one reason or another. I just use MobileDB where I can enter exactly what info I want. There's probably a way to export info from Profiler to MobileDB but I haven't tried it.

I use mobile db lite(free version) for my Palm III then I tranfsered it to my Sony Clie and it works great.
The free version can't be updated from the PDA. But so what. You just update it on your computer and hotsync it.

I use Mobile DB 4.1. You can export your DVD Profiler information to CSV and import it to Moblie DB.
I took out all the catagories I didn't want and personalized the database for PDA use.

Supposedly one of these releases of DVDprofiler will include Pocket PC support, if you use the Pocket PC OS. Who knows how long though, considering the amount of time between their updates.

In the meantime Mobile DB is a pretty flexible program and can be used to database just about anything.

I just did a quick search at ZDNet Downloads and came up with a few options ( here ), but I haven't tried any of them yet . . .
