The Hollywood Knights

I got this movie the other day at Circuit City. I was wanting it to come out on dvd.
On the dvd box it says (exact wording): "Audio: Newly Restored English 5.1 (Dolby Digital)"
But, when I play it, everything comes out of the center speaker! That's NOT 5.1.
Anyone else have this movie? Is your's the same way? Thx........

Perhaps that is the original mono track? Are there multiple audio options on the disc?

I have gone to set up every time I've tried to play it, and chose English 5.1 as the track to play. It still comes out of the center channel............ The display on the receiver says it's DVD Dolby D EX, all the speaker boxes in receiver display are lit up (as if all are playing), but all speakers are totally quiet, except for center speaker........

It must be a problem with your HT system or with that disc in particular, because the reviews at DVD Authority and DVD Angle both talk about the 5.1 mix as being very active and having a wide spatial separation. You might want to double-check all your settings and connections. If everything looks right, then try playing a couple other DVD's in 5.1 mode and see if you experience the same problem. If not, then it must be a defective disc.
