I lost disc in my Family Guy set

Does anyone know how I could purchase just 1 disc out of a set? I misplaced my disc1 from Volume 1 of Family Guy, before I even had a chance to watch all of the episodes. My two year old could have had a role in it, but I'm not pointing fingers at this point. I called Fox, and they don't sell individual discs, which seems to be a niche they're missing out on. Any suggestions?

Thanks.

If you could rent it somewhere, I think you have a legit reason for ripping it...if you have those capabilities.

As a last resort, you could buy a new set and individually ebay the duplicates you would have. Maybe someone else needs just one disc in the set and they need one of the ones you have a duplicate of. Or maybe someone out there likes FG enough to just buy one disc and not a whole set. Or maybe someone who hasn't seen it would want to buy one disc to check it out. If you price them low enough, someone will buy them.

Try used music stores. I went to one here in Portland called CD Game Exchange and at one time they had a couple volumes in their slim cases for like $5. So take a look around.

Again the word for finding them in the single cases is slim.

Thanks for your help. I'm sure it will turn up, but I have looked around and cannot locate it. I guess it really comes down to how bad I want it replaced.

No, not really. I probably should have clarified my sarcasm. I just thought that was the most dumbass reply to my post as I could imagine, and could not help myself. Check the DVD player?? That's not even funny. More like Little Nicky than Damian.

Does this actually make sense to you? He might just as well buy a new set and keep it.

Considering you're taking a useable sellable set from a store, and rendering it unuseable and unsellable... why not just steal the whole thing?

Blockbuster breaks up their box sets and sells them one by one. Last time I was in there I saw each of the discs from 24 Season 2 on sell piece by piece.

I don't know if they'd have Family Guy though.

I've never seen Family Guy at my Blockbuster.

And I've looked too ... no Simpsons, Futurama, or King of the Hill either.

Now that's the kinda compassion I was looking for!!!!

It will turn up, or I might try Hollywood or Blockbuster. Thanks for the ideas.
