I'm hoping for a 2-disc release. There was so, so much wonderful material that Phil did on SNL, and I don't think one disc can even begin to do him justice.

FIRE BAD!

I'm also praying for his classic Soylent Green bit.

God I still miss Phil.

I remember the first season he was on in 1986-87 he did a dead on impression of Phil Donahue..It was hilarious!

I also loved his Burt Reynolds impression which he only did a few times

He was really talented. We all miss him

It looks like these titles are also set for that date:

SNL: 25th Anniversery
Best Of Mike Myers
Best Of Eddie Murphy
Best Of Chris Rock

And many other SNL DVD's are out that I wasn't aware of according to DVDempire:

Soylent white is people!

Phil Hartman as Sinatra talking to Sting as Billy Idol: "I've got chunks in my stool bigger than you."

I hope the sketch is included in which Bill Clinton stops at McDonald's on his jogging route. "War mongers"

I was browsing DDD when I saw the Phil Hartman dvd. It's not even listed at the lions gate website but there are quite few SNL VHS compilations I'd like to see make it to dvd: http://www.lionsgatefilms.com/dnm/searchgate.html?pid=S

Looks like you can get the VHS version on DVD now:
http://www.lionsgatefilms.com/dnm/pr...pid=IN-T-00100

I'm not sure if this product is a DVD, it doesn't specify.

Two classics I hope make it to the DVD.

I own no other SNL DVD's but this one is a must buy for me. The guy was a comedy genius.
And it better have the entire President Reagan skit with the girl scouts, the money laundering map, and Dana Carvey playing Jimmy stewart.

The Sinatra group was an all-time great skit...but it did cost Hartman some money. (He told Howard Stern that the "real" Sinatra didn't like it, so he wasn't allowed to do the Sinatra puppet's voice for those Lipton Tea commercials.)
