Dead Like Me coming to DVD next May

saw this on tvshowsondvd.com

"The Reapers will be coming for....your wallet when MGM releases the first season of this great show on May 4th, 2004.

The show aired on the Showtime network, and just finished its Canadian run on TMN and Movie Central. It involves Georgia, Rube, Betty, Mason, Roxy and Daisy, a group of Reapers who grab souls right before the poor person dies. If you enjoyed 6 Feet Under, chances are you'll love this show.

Unfortunately all we have is the street date, but we hope to get more information in the next few days."

great news...can't wait to get this set

Excellent! This show filled my post-Buffy void. I'll be picking it up for sure. Thanks for the info!

Kickass. That's a lot of GB I can free up now that I don't have to archive this myself.

das... you might better wait and see of $howtime GET'S IT RIGHT! Jeremiah S1 was filmed 16:9 and shown 16:9 on Showtime HD, CROP/CHOP on regular $howtime.. so how do they release it on DVD??

CROP/CHOP 4:3

Myself, I'm saving my 16:9 DVD-RAM copies of DLM till I find out if they do it right...

I wish I had saved all of my downloaded 16:9 copies of DLM. My philosophy is to download and watch and if I like something, buy it. However, now that Showtime may only release the 4:3 versions, I'm regretting that I deleted them...
