MEGAFORCE CRITERION coming soon
Finally Criterion is giving us all what we have been waiting for, Megaforce will be the first in their Barry Bostwick collection, each title will retail for about $59.99.
For those of you who have somehow never heard of this film, here is the link; click or paste in your browser.
http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0084316/
I know all us Criterion Lovers out there will want to save up, considering that Jennifer On My Mind will be 2nd in the Barry Bostwick collection released. How these films have escaped DVD til now is beyond me.
Some may remember BB from Rocky Horror Picture Show, Bostwick captivated a nation with his portrayal of Brad Majors.
This will be the first series by Criterion showcasing the talents of individual actors, Future spotlights will fall on Micheal Pare, Eric Roberts, Marc Singer, who many will remember as the Beastmaster and Reb Brown who filled the screen as YOR, Hunter from the Future.
I think we can all feel the excitement growing in the air.
just kidding
given what my last topic was, I couldnt resist.

Deeds not words lol, the thing i remember about the mega force movie was that the goverment investigated the set on the movie as there futuristic jeeps closely resembled(although not that closely lol) a top secret goverment project that would soon become the humvee(this was in the early 80's).

Now there's a camp classic I'd buy in a heartbeat! That godawful theme song that played at the beginning and during Yor's triumphant moments like when Yor and another caveman perform gymnastic maneuvers over a big pit, or when Yor hang-glides on that giant dead bat! Ah yes, vintage 80's cheese, gotta love it.

Ebert commentary would just punish on this title.
