Alien Quadrilogy Vs Alien Legacy Boxset-

I have ordered the Quadrilogy boxset but was wondering if the Legacy boxset has some items not on the Quadrilogy boxset before I sell it?

the legacy disk doesnt have anything that will be included in the quadrilogy. They decided not to include the legacy documentary in this 9Disk set for some reason, it appears to all be new material, or little scene material.

I already have the Legacy set and the bonus 5th DVD. I was planning on selling it off, but since none of the material is duplicated on the Quadrilogy, I will probably keep it. That makes my Alien set a 14 DVD special edition

Can someone confirm that NONE of the material is duplicated?

With all that's on the Quadrilogy do you really think its necessary to hang on to the Legacy doc? I mean, is it going to be completely different info? I doubt it. I'm sure the new docs will cover all the same ground. I have to vote overkill on this one, packaok.

The only things that are prominently missing is (IIRC):

1) Ridley Scott's solo commentary track from ALIEN (he's in a group on the QUAD)
2) the isolated score track on ALIEN

Other then the Alien Legacy Documentary, which has been said time and time again by various reviwers is redundant to a lot of the info on the set. The ony things on the Legacy DVD's that weren't carried over to the Quadrilogy are as follows. This is from TheDigitalBits.
I know there's one thing you Alien fans are going to want to know right away... can you sell your 4-disc Alien Legacy DVD box set on eBay if you buy the Quadrilogy? Here's the deal... extras from the Legacy DVDs that haven't been carried over to this new set include Ridley Scott's audio commentary track (new commentary with the director has been recorded), Jerry Goldsmith's isolated score (permission wasn't given to reuse it here), the alternate music and production audio track, and the Easter eggs featuring the alien life-cycle and Nostromo crew bios (all omitted for disc space). That was all on the original Alien: 25th Anniversary Special Edition DVD, so if any of that is important to you, you'll probably want to hang on to the disc. The interview with James Cameron is also missing from the previous Aliens DVD, as well as the EPK featurettes from Alien³ and Alien Resurrection. The good news is you won't miss them with all the content for those films on the Quadrilogy.

The interview with James Cameron is also missing from the previous Aliens DVD
Can anybody confirm that the Cameron interview on the old Legacy version of 'Aliens' is the interviews from the laserdisc, all just strung together? I read a few old reviews which said it was, and all that stuff is on Disc nine, in the laserdisc archive section.

The alternate audio tracks on Alien (commentary, score, and alt. production) are reason enough for me to keep that disc. The rest of it is not crucial, IMO.

I believe the 5th disc was a limited mail-in offer disc. It did not come with the Legacy box set itself. It was only available for a limited time via a mail in offer early during the release of the Legacy set.
