Willy Wonka OOP DvD. Worth anything?

Are the earlier out of print Willy Wonka DVDs worth anything or has the newer version erased all desire for them? I been looking on ebay to see what they are selling for but I haven't seen a single one for sale.

On top of that, I went to the Wonka reunion in Boston in 99 and got the DVD signed by all 5 Wonka kids (Actual DVD wasn't signed, I mean the insert on the outside of the case). Anyone give me a ballpark figure on what this is worth (Hoping at least the $50 is cost me to get all of them to sign it).

It's worth as much as anyone will pay you. $50 doesn't seem out of the question for all the Wonka Kids.

You might want to look at eBay to see what the old disc is going for.

You had to PAY the "Wonka kids" to sign? That's pretty sad! I've never been to an event like that. Do they (actors) always charge for signing?

The new version is the most desired now as it has the extras. I sold my copy like yours when I heard that the new version was a definite release.

If it had Gene Wilders sig I'd give you the $50.00 you are asking. He's the one I'd want! Just look @ my signature!

Usually, yes. This was the first time the Wonka kids were alltogether since the filming of the movie. No reason all 5 of them would go to Boston unless they were going to get paid for it. For B Actors, this is a common practice. To sell autographs on a convention circuit.

Gene Wilder isn't at the point where he needs to sell autographs at conventions, so don't have his. I had actually almost forgotten I even had this until my gf noticed the guy that played Mike Tee Vee sells pictures signed of all 5 Wonka children (which he got at the same convention) for $100-$175. Thats when I was like "Holy Crap".

Well, as someone who does not "get" the importance of autographs, so I'm sure my opinion is extremely useful to you, wouldn't a whole film autographed be worth more than just a single picture? Put it up for sale for $200 and see what happens. Never underestimate the ebay corollary to BT Barnum's law - There's a sucker born every minute and they are ALL on Ebay.
