Look out for Alien Quadriligy (sp?) early!!

Hey guy's, look out for the new 9-disc 'Alien Quadriligy' set early. A friend (Romero) and I went to Wal-Mart late lastnight, around 4:00 am and lord behold, two copies of this great new set. Of course, each one of us picked up our copies and checked out. Retail price was $79.85 or something to that extent..

Haven't had a chance to watch the movie, as we are still workin' (long bad Thanksgiving story, that lead to the 4:00 am Wal-Mart run) - but I have to say, that is the biggest fold out for a digi-pac I've ever seen. Think Band of Brothers big.

Yikes, that's high. As much fun as it would be to have it early, I'm waiting until Tues to order at DDD w/20% off code. It'll bring the price down to about $59 shipped.

If you're in the States, 79$ seems quite expensive...

I ordered mine from a Québec online retailer for 76$canadian!!

Yeah Im guessing B&M prices on the week of 12/2 will be around 65-70. It'll be worth it to wait.

I have a hard time waiting 2 extra weeks for a set that even at 80 bucks averages well less than 10 bucks a disk.

Btw I found it early also. It is an awe inspiring set when you fold it out. Think length of most kitchen tables long. The menu's are great. With 2 versions of each movie how can one go wrong?

I just got mine from buy.com. I touched it. I looked at it. It is one of the finest momments in geek history for me, yet none of my geek friends are around to share it with me. Getting something this awsome this early is worthless if no one is around whom you can brag to, and would actually be jealous.

Same here. I was tempted to buy it at WM this morning.
I hope DDD doesn't raise the price at the last minute.

Actually it's Wednesday...

DDD is one of the few sites to show the release date as 12/03...

Just a heads up if you didn't know...

Yeah, I saw others that have mentioned it. I bet it's a misprint... but if it doesn't work on Tues, I'll do it Weds.

Even if it's Weds, it'll kinda work to my advantage. I'll be able to find out some of the B&M prices and see how close to $59 they'll come. Either way, I won't be really diggiing into it until I'm on Christmas vacation on the 19th.

I almost picked this up today, but it wasn't worth the extra 20 bucks to get it early. I can wait until Tues.

Looks beautiful though
