Will this be ever reissued? I can't bring myself to pay these crazy prices for the disc.

Ever? Sure. It's a classic film and there are no legal issues preventing its release.

Soon? It's Universal, so who knows...

(Personally, I'm hoping the extended wait for a reissue is due to remastering. The Image DVD left a lot to be desired.)

I bet it get's released that way as well. Don't think they'll wait for 65, 70 or 75 until re-releasing it.

I didn't even know this title went OOP. I strongly suspect we'll see another release soon. I'll probably watch mine once more this weekend and then put it up on half.

The crappy Image release was a real insult to a such great film. Universal better get their asses moving on getting this re-released.

yeah - i wouldn't want (and didn't get when I could) the image release.

waiting for WHEN the new release comes out.

I didnt want to take the chance and wait years for it...so I'm not that screwed by owning the oop disc for the last 3 years. I still enjoyed the film...and will upgrade when the time comes.
