Quantum Leap?
I'm sure this question is asked often - but has anyone heard if and when the Quantum Leap series will be released on DVD?
|
Outside of the pilot that was released, the only thing I heard was that a season 1 box set was planned for this fall, but that has pretty much come and gone.
|
boy oh boy would it be cool 2 have this graet show come out on the DvD
|
I would be all over season sets of this. Quantum Leap was an old favorite of mine. I love it!
|
Universal announced a season set over a year ago (along with a bunch of other stuff - Sliders, Rockford Files, Magnum P.I., Emergency, etc.).
... of course, nothing ever came out. Here's the thread asking about it: http://www.dvdtalk.com/forum/showthr...hreadid=311526 |

Oh, and FYI... 2004 marks the 15th anniversary of the show's debut (March, 1989)
|
How many season's were there?

There were 5 seasons. On the above website, click on the "Episode Guide" link to the left for a breakdown by episode/season. --LVM |
I find it very funny that Deborah Pratt, the voice of Ziggy (and the show's intro) was actually one of the producers. For me, an instantly recognizable voice. Let's face it, we all still have that intro memorized to this day.

There is no TV show I want more on DVD.
|
|
I'll believe it when I see it. But I DO want to see it.

Those are the two shows that I want SOO badly... sledge and QL and I will be one HAPPY DVD camper. :D

Wow, I totally forgot about this show. Did he even make it back home?

Originally posted by edytwinky Wow, I totally forgot about this show. Did he even make it back home? No, he didn't. In the last two-part episode (which didn't have Al but a bartender named Al), Sam meets several of the characters he's played and interacted with in a PA mining town. He helps them after a the mine collapses. His reflection is that of himself. The bartender is a strange character. He either may be the almighty himself or just someone he talks through. In any event, it is explained to Sam that his destiny is to continue the work he's doing, and that he will never go home. Unexpected ending, and a very good two-parter. |

One correction, however: it is not a two-parter. |
But it's not over yet:
