WOW! Melody Time is censored in R1 and not R2

I just ordered it on R2!!!

And so is Silly Symphonies!!

Looks like R2 DVDs are becoming a good source for censored R1 Disney stuff. Mickey Mouse In Living Color is also coming in R2. Hopefully more stuff will come in R2!! To my knowledge The only thing censored in both R1 and R2 is Fantasia!

Thanks - you've saved me from investing a bundle on the extremely rare Japanese LD. The other censored Disney film I'm waiting for is Make Mine Music. Know anything about that?

Saves me from investing time looking for transfer from the LD!

Unfortunately the only uncensored Make Mine Music is still the Jap LD

But maybe that will come out on R2!!! Then we'll be able to see Disney animated puppiiieessssss on Make Mine Music

By the way getting OT I think the most amount of breasts ever shown in a cartoon made in the US is on a Snafu cartoon! There’s one scene where you see 100% bare breasts and the technical fairy salivates.

WOW it truly is AWESOME to see it uncensored!! A couple of the cartoons brought back flashbacks from when I was a child (namely the first ice skating one, Johnny Appleseed, and Pecos Bill). THANK GOD Pecos Bill is 100% uncensored! I can’t imagine how horrible the censored version would be! Particularly in scenes where the cigarette is critical (such as when he lights it up with lightning). This is one time when Disney’s evil censorship was skirted without the need of LD transfers!!!
