Weird. I've got several odd things I want to test this weekend, this is only one of them. Who knows, maybe my LFE is knocked down for DTS sources. Shouldn't be, but I haven't actually looked at it today.
Josh, Did you try turning your amp down about 4 notches when you compared? DTS is almost universally recorded about 4db hotter than DD, so a small adjustment is needed to really compare. Otherwise the DTS always sounds a bit better since it is just a bit louder.
