No Good Deed: fullscreen only so beware!

Beware!

Just watched the DVD release of the modern noir No Good Deed which was, unfortunately, presented in fullscreen only.

To make matters worse, the DVD case states that the film is presented in its OAR of 1.85:1. This is NOT correct so take heed if you're thinking about picking this up.

However, it may be worth a rental as you do get to see a bit more of Milla Jovovich when she gets out of that shower...

It wasn't a Columbia film. It was released independently by a no name studio. In fact, it only played theatres after the DVD release date was already announced.

And oh yeah, it is a pretty bad film too.

...erm... if you had bothered to look up DVD Talk's review before buying the DVD, you would have known the movie was presented in foolscreen only...

. . . . . .

Doesn't everyone read the corresponding DVDTalk review before buying any DVD, just to make sure the case doesn't have the aspect ratio listed incorrectly?
