How to remove thin paper wrap from TTT:EE???

Just got The Two Towers EE from DVDSoon.

How do I best remove the thin paper that is glued onto the back of the box... without damaging the box?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

At my video store, there was no problem whatsoever getting it off. Since it wasn't my copy of it, I pretty much just yanked it off the case and it didn't cause any damage at all. Maybe they used different kinds of glue though?

It isn't held on by anything strong. I just carefully peeled mine off and it didn't damage the box or leave any residue.

Just peel it off.

I did with FOTR, Indiana Jones, Moulin Rouge. I feel its additional and does not add anything to the box. Afterwards, just slip it into the inserts.

Took it off very carefully. The glue, however, along with some paper were left on the box. Removed it with isopropanol (Windex). No scratches or residue left. Phew!

Mine didn't even have any glue attached to it. Just the plastic on the outside holding it down.

I get high just sniffing this thread.

Mine had a couple of easily removed spots of glue left on the back but the top was a pain in the arse. Loads of glue with bits of paper left stuck on there. Took me about half an hour to clean it off. Here's a tip though, if you use Windex or another alcohol based solvent and your white rag starts turning brown, you're rubbing too hard.

As others above had mentioned, mine had no glue! Yay! But the inner sleve was jammed into the cardboard case backwards! Was tuff to get out, but had no damage.

Whores and buggers

I had the same problem . . . pain in the butt . . . but at least you can always put it back in the right way (I was worried that that might not be the case when I first saw it).

Of course, I'm one of the unlucky ones who had about 8 inches of glue holding the paper sleeve onto the SHRINKWRAPPED box.

I tried my best but ended up removeing some of the color on the back of the box when removing said glue.

Anyone have an email address of telephone number for New Line so I can express my disconcern at this glue mess and maybe request a new box?
