True, and to go even one further you can check her out naked at the ripe old age of 15 in 2000's The Hole. Maybe that's why the US DVD never showed up last month?

Whether or not you are old enough to be her father (BTW, I am nowhere near old enough), there is no denying that she is a beautiful woman. And far more attractive than Johnny Depp (hence the original comment).

Well, your argument on the quality of the film because of her beauty falls apart when I intorduce Pearl Harbor as exhibit A - Kate Beckinsale, as beautiful as she is, could not save this disaster (of a) movie. Therefore, someone's hottness doesn't not make a movie better - tolerable, maybe, but not better. Whereas, Depp actually made POTC better.
