It's put out by Tree Line Films but they don't have anything about it on their site. http://www.treelinefilms.com/
Runs about $30. Could it be decent or is it just total crap?

The Family Pack looks like a craptacular compendium of public domain films. I would wager they are about as good as the Total Movie 40 pack was. Which means, not good at all.

Actually I have the 'Total Movie' 40 pack and I have seen a couple of the same films on our Classics Movie Channel (Moviepix) and was very pleased at how superior the quality of the films on the dvd's were compared to what's being broadcast.

I agree with smoke67. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the Total Movie 40 pack as well.
Seems like this 50 pack is an inexpensive way to watch some of old films without laying out a lot of money. If it turned out to be a total dud, you could always re-sell, donate to a church, hospital, or library, or give it away.
