So does anyone know if these are single or double keepcases? Are the original chapter stop cards and poster art replicas included?

thanks.
While I don't have the originals to compare it to, the one I've received so far has been a keepcase (one disc on a flap, single case width) with two poster reproductions (one for each movie) with chapter stops on the reverse.

At this point DDD doesn't seem to be listing Quatermass. I wanted to order it but the search function no longer pulls it out with any combo I've tried.

I've only just now picked up the Prehistoric Women/Witches dvd...but I saw a few of them at BB. I'm picking up as many as I can find, this weekend.

I just received all of them from DDD (Except for Quatermass, which isn't listed). I found the Quatermass disc at Best Buy, and they also had all of the others. The BB price is $15.99.

What a great week - I got all 10 of these after I had just about given up hope that they would actually come out, and to top it off the 3 new Russ Meyer DVD's showed up today, even though I had been told they were delayed.

I just found the Quatermass double feature at DDD for 15.00. It comes up when you put in quaRtermass like the other person said. They must have just added it again because I have been checking daily or so for awhile:

Thanks for the heads-up and link! I've been checking periodically also, and never located it (even with 'quartermass'). It's the last one of the group that I'm interested in getting...

DavidK:

Did you ever receive Quatermass & Quatermass 2, 2 disc set from DDD?

I got mine today and opend the box only to find SGT. BILKO with Steve Martin in it. The packing sheet has Quartermass etc. on it.

I posted on the store forum about it, etc.:

Definitely a mistake on their part. I ordered the QUATERMASS double feature last week and received it today, no problem. There's probably some BILKO fan wondering why the heck DDD sent them QUATERMASS.

I got the Quatermass okay (DDD isn't showing it on their site again, by the way), but my Dracula double disc from Overstock came as Ridley Scott's 'Gladiator' instead. By the time it arrived, they were sold out of the Dracula disc. I found it elsewhere, thankfully.

This set of discs has to be one of the oddest I've encountered, with regard to being really badly mismanaged in marketing and availability...

Did they just send the wrong dvd, or was the "Gladiator" disc(s) inside the Dracula case?

These double features are a great value. A nice bunch of extras. Normally I'm not one to care much about an insert but I wish other companies would use that stiffer posterboard type found in the double features.

I did notice some distracting artifacting on Quatermass and the Pit. If Blue Underground issues a new transfer, I would most likely double dip. Satanic Rites was also a bit wobbly and worse for wear in some parts.

Having been used to a VHS from when it aired on cable many years ago, I was really impressed to see Frankenstein Created Woman.

I read some concerns that the disc might be the same flawed DVD that was later replaced by Anchor Bay. Mine plays fine so far but I was wondering if there's a way to tell whether its the old or new version. Is there a number I should look for?

Wrong disc and case - and it was the single disc version of the movie, too. They told me to keep it, but couldn't replace the Anchor Bay because they had sold out (they issued me a credit for the total amount).

While my incident was probably a mistake made during packing, there's a lot of strangeness with these double discs.... DVDPriceSearch doesn't list some of them; DDD has no details on them (including incomplete titles for most of them!), and the Quatermass disc is misnamed and comes and goes on their site; other sites that are usually pretty on-the-ball don't list them; and the date of release got bounced around more times than a caller trying to get some information from someone at the Department of Motor Vehicles.

Along with a whole slew of other discs, today I picked up The Lost Continent/Reptile and Plague of the Zombies/Mummy's Shroud discs from BB for $15.99 each.
