Dramas. Don't know how it's happening, but I keep buying more and more comedies, and lack dramas.

rewatchability.

I have a lot of great movies that I have seen before, and that I might enjoy seeing again sometime. But, realistically, a lot of them won't be coming out of their cellophane any time soon.

i will be pruning about 150 movies over the next 2 months.

It used to be Bollywood movies, but I picked a few of those and think I'm ok now there. Right now, I feel I need more (or any) Kung Fu movies. Once I get a few of those, I'm sure there's something else I'll decide I need.

Hmm, let's see:

First I should make sure the categories are correct, and then probably add more drama.

...and then add more films from the 40's and 50's.

(actually, I just wanted to show off a few of the many charts that Ant Movie Catalog can do)

Ya know, I really don't know. Well, I could use more silent films, especially with the great Buster Keaton. If anybody else has any suggestions that would be nice too...

Well, for my collection, rewatchability I do not really care much about, as I just want a good copy of everything that I have ever watched and strongly liked on DVD. I have more dvd's than there's time in the day, so it's not like I have time to watch a dvd more than a few times.

My collection is truly lacking in Foriegn Movies, especially Asian and European. I also have a lack of comedies, but I don't like many comedy movies, but I do like a lot of stand up comics to fill that void. Also lacking in music dvd's as I am a fan of Jazz, and Jazz is best live and unfortunately there's only been a couple new releases, and special interest/misc dvd's for sports. I'd especially love to buy some Boxing on DVD.

Lastly, I need more movies period. Out of 310 titles, only about 170-180 are actual movies. Probably because I'm very hesistant in buying movies I haven't seen before, as well as discounting whole types of movies (like, regular and boring dramas, silly comedies, no kiddie stuff or teeny bopper crap). There's thousands of independant movies that I'd know I'd want, but I find it hard to find info on them, till well after they are released.

I'm pretty happy with my collection, it suits my needs and my friends can always find something they want to watch when visiting.

I think I need more foreign films. I love them, but I just can't afford the $$ it takes to buy many of them from overseas.
