horror recommendations for a newbie?

I am looking to rent 2 horror movies this weekend and dont know where to start.

1. I want to watch a very very very scary movie, I am not a fan of sub titles so that is out, otherwise I am wide open. I guess my question is. What is the scariest movei ever? I know its subjective, but I dont have a clue.

2. I would like to rent somthing that is scary, and has some humor and lots of breasts!

Thanks for your help.

The Thing scared the ever-living crap out of me. It has some humor in it, but no breasts.

The Shining was pretty scary too.

1. The Changeling

2. Evil Dead 1 or 2. (won't really give you breasts, but I can't think of *any* film that meets all 3 of your criteria).

Try Vampyres. It has blood and breasts. It has lesbian breasts!

It's hard to recommend horror not knowing if you're more of a fan of "old school" or the newer stuff.

Here are my recommendations:

The Exorcist
Alien
Texas Chainsaw Massacre
Halloween
The Haunting (1963)
Psycho
The Ring
Phantasm

semi-recommendations:
28 Days Later
The Shining
Evil Dead
Jaws
Night of the Living Dead
Sixth Sense

I agree most with this list. I would add, however, "The Others" and "A Nightmare on Elm Street."

Well, here's a movie that is scary, has some humor, and lots of breasts (along with plenty of legs too!).

---> check it out <---

Vlad, you're new, so I'll tell you - posting the same thread in two dfferent forums is seen as a waste of bandwidth and time.

What would you have done if he hadn't been new?
