Opinion: What am I missing from my collection?

OK time for another "look at my collection, and recommend other flicks that I may not know about" thread. I respect a lot of the opinions on here and have been turned on to many cool flicks from you guys, so I figured you could take a look at my own collection this time

Mucho thanks!

From: Sonoran Desert; a place where it doesn't matter whether or not one can pronounce Donnacha.
Like Audition? Try other Takashi Miike films (Visitor Q, Happiness of the Katakuris, soon to be released Ichi the Killer). Like Miike, check out Takashi Kitano (e.g. Boiling Point)

You're also missing Truffaut and Ingmar Bergman films from your collection, many films which are available through Criterion.

Yes you need more Takashi Miike films. And oddly enough, I have a brand new copy of (R2) Dead or Alive 2 for sale.

You need that Allman Brothers at the Beacon DVD that was just released, it doesn't matter what else you have in your collection.

Greetings fellow Alabamian!

You have a great collection.

A couple of must-owns in my opinion that I did not see in your collection was A Clockwork Orange & Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

There are others I would suggest but those 2 are the only ones I think everyone should have.

Yeah not really sure why I don't have Clockwork Orange yet, love that one

Which version of TCM is considered the best? It can be any region, PAL or NTSC..

Yeah . . . I second that one . . . I noticed a suprising lack of Stanley Kubrick (with the exception of FMJ). I'd recommend picking up his collection set.

BTW . . . Geminix . . . brianluvdvd . . . War Eagle!

Here's some stuff from my collection that you'd probably enjoy, based on what you own:

Tombstone
Treasures of the Sierra Madre
Yojimbo
Fistfull of Dollars
12 Monkeys
Scarface
Carlito's Way
The Maltese Falcon
The Killer
La Belle et La Bete
Nosferatu
Cabinet fo Dr. Calligari

I'd also recommend the Chaplin Collection Warner Borthers just released with the Gold Rush, Modern Times, the Great Dictator, and Limelight. There's nothing in your collection that's quite like these movies, but then again, there's never been anybody quite like Chaplin.

Excellent collection!

I would recommend picking up 'Straw Dogs - Criterion' before it goes OOP at the end of December.

Nice collection, way better than mine.

You need some more classic sci-fi. Here my suggestion.

Forbidden Planet
It Came From Outer Space
Invasion Of The Body Snatchers (1956)
The Thing From Another World (1951)
War Of The Worlds (1953)
2001: A Space Odyssey
The Beast From 20,000 Fathoms
Earth v.s The Flying Saucers
