I need to be authenticated to look at your collection. You have a different link to supply by any chance?

It wants me to be authenticated, too. I clicked on MY DVDS and OWNED, and it keeps insisting I either log in or register. Might want to try another link or DVD listing service.

Your link is screwed up. It takes everyone to their own collections. Use this link: http://www.dvdaficionado.com/dvds.ht...l&id=spielberg

Or perhaps this one

Or perhaps something else entirely.

Nice collection, but I'd replace those Buffy The Vampire DVDs with Star Trek : TNG. But, that's just me.

Exactly what I was thinking.

"I don't care what people think about my collection! But...what do you think about it?"

Odd that you have four seasons of Buffy and no Angel. Beyond that, I really like the collection for the most part.

Body Of Evidence is the one film in your collection which makes me cringe.

Do you have all or a good majority of the films/shows you want on DVD? If yes, then you have a great collection, regardless of what anyone else says(no offense to previous posters).

I don't see this on his list. Did he remove it?

Hmmmm...DVDs I wouldn't buy include:

Any Given Sunday
Armageddon
Blow
Body of Evidence
Buffy
The Crush
From Hell
Harriet the Spy
Hollow Man (yeesh)
Once Bitten
Pearl Harbor
Speed Racer

Edit: Crossed out those he doesn't own. Man, I need some new hobbies.

There are also some I haven't seen. I would rank your collection as fair. Blow & From Hell are decent films but nothing I'd watch again. I do own ID4, Fast & the Furious, & Twister so I know some are not intended to exercise the brain or have interesting characters ... or dialogue ... or stories.

This is very true and the most important. However, since he is on a DVD/Film forum and started this thread he must value other film lovers opinions. It is one thing to have a collection you love, yet you must still understand that your collection can be considered crap by the masses. Just a quick analogy, if you are a Bengals fan you should like your team and no other but you still gotta realize your team sucks. In the end it comes down to your own feelings but that doesn't mean you have good taste in film. Great films (say Godfather) and poor films (say Gigli) are just understood as what they are. If you like and own Gigli don't expect film lovers to think much about you or your collection which in turn would make the discussions you partake in and your opinions in those not very appealing. IMO. I think that is what I wanted to say.

Thanks. I clicked on the link D-Ball provided but it has around 200 less titles overall. I'm not going to look through the list you provided too. One is enough for now.

I don't really care what people think of my opinion but I like people to know what I think. (and since we're sharing...)

Totally agree with bboisvert.
Why do you care what other people think of your collection, as long as YOU like it, then who the crap cares if other people like it or not??????????????? I have my collection uploaded to guzzlefish and also DVDProfiler, but you never see a link in my posts - WHY - because I don't think you want to see my collection, I know that I seldom click on people's collection links. Plus, I don't need people to ask me "why did you buy this or that" because obviously I bought it because I enjoy it! My collection is uploaded for my own use and the use of my friends who ask me for an idea of what DVD to watch or buy.

These "rate my collection" threads drive me batty!
