What exactly IS the audio issue with the disc?

I had only watched it without my HT back in March or so, and I recently watched it again with my DD 5.1 setup. The audio sometimes skips out and goes to one speaker during the movie. It doesn't seem to repeat in the same place twice, but happens randomly.

AFAIK, there is dialog missing in the anniversary edition... but nothing like what you're mentioning (at least from my experience). Perhaps your disc is damaged?

I don't know.

The disc looks fine, I've done a pretty close examination.

This has never happened with any other movie, so I don't think it's my HT.

I'm just kind of stumped here.

What you describe is not the audio problem people have a beef with. Rather, there is missing dialog (a few words here and there were left out of the re-release)

I didn't notice; what dialogue was missing?
