Best place for DVD's in New York

Hi,

I live in the UK but am going to be in New York for a week in March 04 (actually have Wrestlemania tickets, lame I know but I cant wait) and wanted to know if there was any good Dvd outlets to visit outside of the big chain stores.

Thanks for any help.

Actually there are at least another 50 people from a UK wrestling forum doing the same thing, its not that expensive. In fact its cheap to fly to the US. Only cost me £250 for a return flight.

Kim's Video, there's two, one on St. Marks Place, and the other is on Bleecker Street. Both have good selections, movies that you wouldn't find in other places, some of there prices are a little steep, some prices not all.

Also J & R Records on Park Row, a block away from City Hall. Very good selection, sometimes you can find some really good sales.

I'll second J & R. Really great selection if your not worried about price. They do have some good sales, but if it's not on sale expect to pay.

Remember that the US is Region 1. Unless you have a region 1 or region-free player, they won't work in the UK.

....and also, DVDs here in the U.S. are not PAL.
