The one near me only had the first Use Your Illusions concert DVDs and that was the Brazil Import, which I already have. :/

I had a rather unpleasant experience trying to buy this today at Best Buy. The first copy I bought had a large semi-circular scratch on the disc. I went back in to exchange and the second copy had the same exact mark, then the third. Finally, they just decided to refund my money because they had a feeling the whole batch had the problem. Did anyone else pick up "Welcome to the Videos" and notice the same thing? I am wondering if it is something inherent in the disc or if it was just a bad batch locally. Please let me know what you guys find...thanks!

I just opened and looked at mine, no marks on it at all.

This is going to sound psychotic, but please do me a favor. Tilt the disc and look at it from various angles. The scratch wasn't visible at first head on, you had to look at it from the side, if you know what I mean. Thanks in advance for the effort!

Yep, looked at again, all different angles, right up to a light, nothing at all. I even looked at the artwork side.

Thanks, I'll try another BB this week before the sale ends...

They are in stock over at DVD Pacific. Good price too at $10. Have mine on the way from them now. Interestingly they also have them in a jewel case as well as an amray.

I just picked up the Illusion I disc @ BB, but does it have a 5.1 soundtrack like the Brazilian Release?

If someone can post a brief comparison w/ the Brazilian discs, I'd appreciate it. Picture/sound quality... is it an 'upgrade' to get this, or should I stick w/ my Brazil copy.

I ordered a copy of "Welcome to the Videos" from Amazon and got the jewel case version. Anybody who orders from them should be careful because the two versions are listed separately, but there's no indication which version is which.

Looks like I answered my own question.

After some research, I found that the US release only has 2.0 DD stereo, so it looks like I'm going to return it to BB and buy the korean DTS version.
