there is no real over all loudness in the way the sounds come out of the speakers. For the opening sequence, I was expecting a big burst of sound, but got little, but lots of lfe. When I put the original in, there is lots of loud sounds, especially in the lobby scene. The burrly brawl was a letdown in terms of sound. I little techno music is louder then the actual sound of the punches. The sound comes in when the slow motion comes up. just a little nit pick with the dvd. hoping for dts for the rumored trillogy set next year.
