Anyone else find it interesting how few women are list as "Top Actor", or even in the top 5 or 10 in people's lists?

That's because male stars are always listed first in most films.

It's just the way it goes - it's a union thing: leading man, leading lady, etc.

Granted, with a small collection like mine (57) it's easier to manage, I wonder if anyone with 200+ dvds has a woman in the top actor/actress spot.

I almost do, Gillian Anderson is tied with David D. because of all the Xfiles I have.

The things we do for some interesting stats! It took me two nights to transfer my list from DVDaf to Guzzlefish... title by title. There were a few that GF didn't have listings for, mainly other region discs, and some that were oddly named (Coup de Torchon is listed as Clean Slate, the English translation), but this is pretty close to all of it.

Well, the other day, with the addition of the Mr. Deeds (SE), Steve Buscemi usurped Mr. Affleck from the top spot in my collection. I thought that this warrented a "stats update". Holy crap!!! I just looked at my stats again and in 7 months I more than doubled my collection!!!!

It was that blasted DDD sale in December that started it all . . .

I don't have an update but while looking through these old stats I noticed jough's latest addition at the time being Indiana Jones; reminds me of his Best Buy story.

On another note, I noticed on my list that Samuel L. Jackson isn't credited for Do the Right Thing.

I also noticed that Chow Yun-Fat is credited 4 times for each movie he is in, so if someone has him as their top actor it could be a lie!

Yeah, as much as I like Chow Yun-Fat, I'm getting tired of seeing him there (should be DeNiro,of course).
