Three Stooges Collection?
Any word on a definitive Three Stooges DVD collection?
I know of the compilations that are available, but some of those are cut for time.
I was hoping there would be a box set of every episode in the near future.

Nothing that i've heard of. I am currently collecting the "Columbia/Tristar" dvd's. There is 15 out now and 1 coming next month I believe. With over 250 shorts and several movies a "Definitive" set would cost a small fortune. I'd have to check my Stooges book for exact numbers.
Hope this helps a bit.

Considering the "blood from a turnip" mentality that Columbia/TS has shown with the individual releases ($20 a pop? Three shorts per disc? C'mon!), I can't imagine how much they'd be asking for a complete set.
Wish I could show some optimism here. I'd love to get them all, myself.

Columbia are sitting on a gold mine with this franchise!! Why don't they start working their way thru the Curly,Larry and Moe years and restore these shorts and release them as 2 disks sets and release a couple of these a year.I would make these like the cool Warner Chaplin disks that are out with plenty of extras. There's only 97 shorts with Curly.Around 15 minutes per short you can fit a whole bunch of shorts on these!! If Warner owned these!! :-(

I actually just re-started collecting the VHS Curly shorts...I have the first DVD of "Curly Classics" but in terms of quality, quantity, and price I am not ready to start collecting them all on DVD.

Not worth it.It's like owning the vhs tapes on dvd.Crappy transfers, expense and it would take up a whole room to buy them the way they are putting so little on a disk.Their making fun of us.You can fit so much on a dvd and they are only putting 3 or so shorts on a disk. This is a classic series that needs the attention it deserves.
