Did Jeremiah S1 air in WS?

I just saw the specs for Jeremiah Season 1 DVD elsewhere on THIS site:

"And finally, MGM Home Entertainment has announced the post-apocalyptic Jeremiah: The Complete First Season for January 20th, 2004. The Showtime series, starring Luke Perry, will come as a six-disc set featuring all 19 episodes in fullscreen and DD 2.0 Surround. Special features will include an audio commentary with Perry and co-star Malcolm-Jamal Warner, 10 deleted scenes, a behind-the-scenes featurette, photo and production design galleries. Retail is $79.96 "

Is Full Frame the original aspect ratio?
When the show originally aired on Showtime, was it in WS?
Was on the HD Showtime channel?
I believe the second season is in WS.

I know Odyssey 5 was HD at the same time, but I think Jeremiah was simply letterboxed. It's been so damn long that I can't really remember, though. Maybe it was full frame. It really pisses me off the way they've treated this series. It's definitely airing in HD this season, and letterboxed on the SD feed.

Jeremiah season 1 was shown on Showtime 1.33:1, and on Showtime HD as an upconverted 1.78:1. Season 2 is shown in HD 1.78:1 on Showtime HD, and I have no idea how it's shown on Showtime.

Shame that it's in 1.33:1 format. I watched in on Showtime HD and didn't even realize it was an upconvert. The had remastered or converted the sound into a 5.1 transmission as well. Both picture quality and sound were great.

I would like to be able to get the 1.78:1 version that they aired instead of 1.33:1.

Not to cause the whole Buffy uproar again, but does anyone know if it was shot for 1.33:1 or 1.78:1?
