Ennio Morricone interviews on DVD?
There are quite a bit of DVDs out there that feature the occasional interview with the film's composer in the special features/extras like John Williams,Hans Zimmer,Jerry Goldsmith,etc.. But are there any DVDs that feature Morricone?
I'm a bit shocked at this because I've only seen "Il Maestro" interviewed once and that was for the Sergio Leone documentary, "Once Upon A Time", but that was awful brief. And I'm even more surprised that there's no mention of him being included in the extras on the upcoming Once upon a Time in the West release, which could possibly be the most respected score he's ever created.
So are there any DVDs available that I'm unaware of? Any non-region 1 releases or what?

Yep, and if you read the viewer comments - at least one person thought it was quite worth while.

Oddly enough, I just watched Sergio Corbucci's classic Compaņeros this weekend. One of the extras on the DVD is an interview feature with stars Franco Nero, Tomas Milian, and music composer Ennio Morricone. He discusses musical influences for this particular picture, how he wanted to completely change his style from the Leone films for this movie, etc. Very cool movie with one of the most catchy theme songs you'll ever hear in a "spaghetti" western. And whenever Franco Nero gets his hands on a machine gun, you know you're in for a good time!
