Something Weird Video "Extra Weird" Sampler

This DVD was talked about earlier this year in the bargains forum. It was originally a give-away at Borders but was pulled off the shelves for questionable content. Here is the thread that talked about it.

Surprisingly, yesterday I found it at a local B&M for $6. After I got home, I checked DDD and noticed they had it also for $6. So, for those of us that missed out the first time, here's your chance.

I didn't bump the original thread since I didn't think it was a bargain anymore. Plus, some of you may not venture into that forum but might find this disc to be of interest.

That DVD is dangerous: since I got it I went out and got Bloody Pit of Horror and The Black Cat (love that eye-patch band!).

Year of The Yahoo is a lot of fun. Bought it up last April when it was issued on SWV's DVD-R. I haven't watched the double feature version of the film with This Stuff'll Kill Ya, it's on my "to be watched" list. Can't wait to see HG Lewis' ZAP - IN, his homage to Laugh-In. SWV just made this winner available. I'll pick it up in 2 weeks at their table at the Chiller Theatre Convention.

I have 27 SWV disks and many I hold dear. Their recent triple features Touch, Curse, Kiss of her flesh and Atomic Brain, love after death and petrified world are among the best they have ever done. And now the sampler for 6.00 !! You get sooo much for your money from SWV. I just cant imagine life with out SWV

this is what I have on order at SWV on DVD-R.

indecent desires , my brothers wife, office girls, a taste of flesh, too much too often, jet set swingers, eighteen carat virgin, jennifer, dusk till dawn trashorama, suburan roulette, substitution, agony of love, suburban pagans, weekend lovers, wild honey

I'll be there.... but SWV has higher prices on Fri/Sat, only to drop them to a more reasonable price on Sunday. I would be extremely surprised to see the Sampler disc for less than $10 at the show... (even though it sells in stores for $5)

As for being one of the best horror conventions in the country, that is true only from a relative point of view. The quality of the Chiller cons has taken a nosedive over the last 5 years.
