I may have been prepared to have signed it if not for what i feel is the completely overly optimistic demands for supplemental material etc....most people would surely just want decent audio/video as well as an imminent release and i think if that's all what was asked for then the petition may be taken a bit more seriously by the relevant studios etc.

I don't get the point. Do you think Paramount/Artisan aren't aware that there's great demand for Season 2? They have the sales figures from Season 1 to show them that. Whatever it is that's holding up the release isn't going to be sped up because of an online petition. The studios don't work that way.
