Where is "Ultimate Vacation Collection"???

National Lampoon's Vacation, European Vacation, Christmas Vacation and Vegas Vacation are supposed to be packaged together in a boxset titled "Ultimate Vacation Collection."

The street date was last Tuesday, 10/7, but where on God's Green Earth is it? I checked Best Buy, CC, Borders, B&N, WalMart, Target. Everywhere short of Victoria's Secret.

The clerk at Best Buy has it in the store computer stating "on order," with no firm arrival date.

I'm so sick of this crap. A couple weeks ago "Warner Legends Collection" boxset was supposed to street and never hit stores, and now this.

If a product has a street date, then why doesn't it hit stores on that day?

I guess I'll have no choice now but to order online. Something I've not had great luck with (returns are a pain in the butt).

Anyone out there able to find the "Ultimate Vacation Collection" yet? If so, please let me know where.

right here in my living room...

Why don't you pople order online? I got it from Amazon with STL for $37. I doubt you'll find it for less than $40 at B&M and add tax to that. I only buy big releases at B&M's like Matrix Reloaded.

$49.95? That's crazy! I pre-ordered mine for $37 and change from amazon.

Best Buy didn't have it once again so I just picked it up at Borders. Best Buy didn't have Transformers 3.1 either but they could pay a guy to dress up like Neo and BS with the customers. They are starting to get on my nerves.

Yeah me to. I actually like it better than European Vacation. I thought Ethan was very funny, plus I thought the movie in general was very funny. And of course,

Plus, the three Best Buys I've been to recently had the box set and all of the separate releases. I bought 1 and 3, already own 2, and I have the Japanese Widescreen Vegas Vacation. I would have bought the US one if it had any special features, but it didn't.

Best Buy didn't have Transformers 3.1 either
As for Transformers, it took me a bit to find it. All of the other Transformers were under Sci-Fi/Anime/Horror, but for some reason, I decided to check under DVD TV shows, and there was Season 3 Part 1 of Transformers. Speaking of that, anyone know how (and when) they are doing Season 3 part 2? Will it have the rebirth episodes which I already have on DVD? Maybe for Season 3 part 2 I may buy the individual discs instead. I knew there had to be SOME good reason for the individual discs!

Yes, the Rebirth episodes will be included. It will be called "Season 3 Part 2/Season 4"

Couldn't find it at Best Buy or Borders, so I placed an order with Amazon and it shipped out immediately. That may be the route to take if B&Ms aren't getting many in.

However, I found the Lion King gift set to be plentiful at these stores....but no other new boxset that has been released in the last 2-3 weeks. Go figure.
