Will the canadian release of Indy have dual language artwork ?
Does anyone know ?
I'd hate to have to get it shipped from US just becasue the artwork is made ugly by having both french and English on it.

I think it will have both...
more and more in the specialized store (not large ones like WM and FS) you can buy the original unilingual (with a little sticker that say "piste francaise incluse" (meaning "french track included") and also the bi-lingual one...
latest one, Lion King, Scarface, Sleeping beauty...
I also like when they put reversible covers, so you can simply choose what side you like...
but since it's a boxset, it will probably have just a cardboard wraparound (read slipcase) in french....(like Band of Brothers, Simpsons, LOTR...)
we'll see next week I guess!

I can CONFIRM that Indy is available here in Canada in both SEPARATE English and bilingual packaging. This is the way every DVD should be released.
THANK YOU PARAMOUNT!!!
I hope this will be a sign of things to come. A choice !

I am absolutely amazed at the reactions here. I personally do not care at all whether it is bilingual or not. Canada is - officially at least - a bilingual country, so why not honor it on consumer products?
Would everybody be as elated if Crest would have separate french and english explanations on their toothpaste.
I think I am missing something. I do not watch the cover, I watch the movie.

Each to their own I guess.
I live in Canada and HATE bilingual packaging. It looks awful on my shelf and just awful in general. I don't mind paying a bit more to purchase titles in the US so I can avoid the french/english crap!I will not purchase a title unless it has English only packaging.

This is strange, here in Tennessee they got a shipment of Back to the Future from Canada in w/ the bilingual packaging, same features, same everything, $20.00 cheaper than any store in the U.S. $20.00 less for 3 french words on the cover, I'll take my $20 and by another DVD with it.

Now if a film was french, then by all means have a french only cover
