Matrix: Reloaded
I picked it up, and it sounds/looks spectacular. Definitely a "must buy" if you want great sound and superior video.
One question though - is there no part in the movie that shows how
Hoping my disc isn't defective.
THANKs!

Sarcasm?

Yes, I'm aware of the Matrix and have seen it once or twenty times.
Didn't realize that's where he was. While the poster may not think it's important IHO, it's still a continuity error. Was just curious if it was a disc defect.

As far as your problem, I guess you can just feel happy that it works everywhere BUT work - now you won't get in trouble.

You could have blown the amp built into the sub. Your description of the problem mirrors what I had when my JBL crapped out
You'll soon find out that it's cheaper to buy a new one than to repair the old one. Sad but true

I've got news for you guys. The full-screen edition actually shows more of the image than the Widescreen, especially Persephone's cleavage. I've got both discs and actually prefer the Full Screen. This reminds me of the situation with The Abyss, where James Cameron preferred the full screen as well.
