Freddy vs Jason (Where are you going to put it?)

I am patiently waiting for Freddy vs Jason dvd, still awhile to wait but still. Now I have 2 questions.

1) Do you think this movie is classified as a Friday the 13th movie or a Nightmare on Elm street movie?

2) Not sure what most people do but I have my dvds in alphabetical order, but I like to group certain ones together. Should I put Freddy vs Jason with my Friday the 13th dvds or put it with my Nightmare on Elm st dvds?

I will be putting mine between Friday The 13th & Nightmare On Elm Street in the Horror Section.

That's an excellent place to put it. If I had to choose one or the other, I'd put it in the Elm Street section because F vs J is a New Line Cinema movie.

If I were buying it, it would go next to Freddy Got Fingered (if I had that).

It will go alphabetically in order like all my other movies. If I grouped it together, I would put it with the Nightmare on Elm Street movies because I felt that it was more of a Freddy movie anyways.

I would put it with the Friday movies since they are on keepcases and the Nightmare movies are in a boxset of snappers.

I feel your pain purple. I rubbed my eyes twice to make sure that what I saw was right when I read the thread title.

Ill Put it right after Wes Craven's New Nightmare This is much more of a Nightmare movie than a Friday Movie..The entire plot basically revolves around Freddy and Elm Street..Jason was a puppet of Freddy and Crystal Lake was a subplot

My is going under "F" as it's own movie.

Mine are alphabetical, however Jason Goes To Hell & Jason X are under "Friday the 13th." Same with Freddy's Dead & Wes Craven's New Nightmare being under "Nightmare."
