Do You Keep or Discard DVD Slipcases?

DVD Talk Limited Edition
I keep everything with DVDs, even the stupid little ads they throw inside the boxes sometimes.

I keep them but don't keep the DVDs in them. ANY type of cardboard or non-amaray DVD case gets replaced with an amaray and a new cover from dvdcoverart, if needed. I keep all of my slipcovers, box sets, digi packs etc in a different place all empty.

I didn't vote in the poll as none of the responses apply. I keep most, but discard a select few. For example, I discarded the slipcase for Die Another Day as none of the other Bond films have slipcases.

I keep mine anymore. I know there a few i don't have because of accidents with my kids. Simpson Season 1, the First Harry Potter, Sopranos season 1, and South Park Season one is all ones that got ruined acidentally, but i've kept all the other ones.

I also keep the slipcases. I cover these with protective plastic sleeves, to prevent damage/dust collection over time. I also have to put snapper cases in plastic to keep them looking as pristine as artwork in the amaray cases.

I think they look cool, ( Pulp Fiction, Seven, Fight Club)
Its not about value, I a personal thing, like keeping the cover on a hard copy book, do people throw those out?
Like why would you throw it out its not like your gonna save super space by throwing them out.
Maybe those who do should just rip the movie to Divx and resell the whole DVD for half price...
Anyone wanna get rid of Lion King out there?????

DVD Talk Hero
Hi all,
When I bought Disney's Beauty and the Beast mine didn't come with the paper slipcase.
I didn't care until I got Lion King and Sleeping Beauty yesterday.
Now B&tB looks like a bad oddball being the only one without the slipcase.
I sent an e-mail to didneydvd.com -- but I HIGHLY doubt I'll ever get a reply.
Any help?

. I used to seal every LP I had back in the day....about 4 or 5,000. I felt more secure about them staying in mint condition...or as close to it as possible. I have odd-size titles sleeved as well..except for things like the Spiderman box, the AB tins, the huge limited Kurosawa box and many others. I've had no time of late so I still have about 300 needing a blankie
. if I lived in Charlie Brown's hood....Linus would be my best friend.
